Physical Description
Patrick is about 5'10", has the same complexion and eye color as Avery Driscoll (that is, a fair complexion and yellow-green eyes), dark brown hair and an incredibly fit, athletic body. It's a body he never thought he have, but is a body indicative of just how many sports he played after he was healed from a crippling disease he had as a child. Brittle bone disease.
As Patrick is an angel, he is incredibly attractive and very easy on the eyes. He appears as though he is around twenty one years of age.
Personal Information
Patrick is a runner. He runs seven miles a day, every day, without fail. Once he was healed, he refused to take his physical fitness for granted, and played football and rugby, was on a crew and track team and ran recreationally.
He's also an incredible clown and has a delightful sense of humor. A family man. He is closest to Claire Driscoll and Claire is closest to him.
Backstory
Patrick is the youngest child of Ruth Fitzwilliam and Charles Fitzwilliam. From the time of birth, he was not well. He suffered odd bruising and broken bones and was diagnosed with brittle bone disease and an incredibly weak immune system. As a result, Patrick was homeschooled and had little opportunities for friends. He spent a great deal of his childhood in hospitals and insitituions. He was angry, resentful and unhappy. Claire was the only person who could calm him down during a fit.
When they moved to London, Patrick had expected to make new friends, but he made none and no one would let him start schooling with the rest of the children, as there was no way he could. His mood blackened even further and he would fall into self-destructive fits that often rewarded him with broke bones and long hospital stays. He often had to be sedated to be put in an ambulance.
But the entire family held onto the fact that, once his angelic manifestations began, he would be healed. And, at twelve, the changes began. He stopped getting sick. His chronic pain lessened. By his thirteenth birthday, he was well. He started at the local secondary school that year and joined as many sports teams as he could, made dozens of friends and his dark and unhappy personality became light and carefree. He was a funny boy, and he made sure that everyone was always laughing.
He married Rebecca Jones after leaving university in 1995 and the couple have four children. And counting.
