March 2008: It Sucked
From DirtyWiki
No, seriously, it did. March 2008 was like the new 2002. (And as of first making this page, it isn't even done being written yet, so more things will be added.)
As proof, the entire current events list from March '08. There are a few good things on it - but only a few, and they are in fact few and far between. Birthdays are left in because some of them are significant – like poor Lindsey O'Gevany and Joelle Bérard, whose March birthdays were overshadowed by the fact that March sucked for them too.
- 1 March: Lindsey's birthday.
- 4 March: Leo is assigned to watch his boss' youngest son. He takes him out to see the sights in London.
- 5 March: On what was once Randolf's birthday, Isabella realizes she's in over her head with Etienne L'Artaire and leaves Paris early in the morning without telling him. This comes after a week in which she started pulling away.
- 5 March: Only hours after arriving home, Isabella is greeted by a very unhappy Alice, who is not adjusting to the return of her longterm boyfriend at all.
- 7 March: Joelle's birthday.
- 7 March: Alice and Isabella go shopping to prepare for Bess' birthday. The truth about what Isabella did in Paris surfaces. Leo spots Isabella outside of the Ritz and has a coronary.
- 7 March: Leo follows Isabella and the two do a little unloading.
- 7 March: At a meeting of sorts, Fabian Fitzwilliam finds out something unsettling about a patient of his father's, and drags Estee Matthews with him to find out the truth. Later, Fabian and Estee confront Robert and it just gets worse. Isabella's message only makes it more complicated, but in the morning, they all head to Wiltshire.
- 8 March: Bess's amazing and stupendous THIRTEENTH birthday.
- 8 March: At Bess' party, Alice and Robert have what is an awkward sort of reconciliation, with a lot of help from the family and Estee. Fabian even gets a hug at the end, Bess and Estee make friends and Bess' friends all get crushes on Fabian.
- 8 March: Leo reacts poorly to having slept with Isabella.
- 12 March: Hesther's birthday.
- 14 March: Then Leo and Isabella do it again. This time might be the last time.
- 16 March: Eleanor's birthday.
- 16 March: Beauvais Henrié and Lucien Henrié are in a car accident late that evening, and die in the early hours of the following morning. Etienne, Adele & Ainsley leave for Nice that morning.
- 16 March: The weight of Randolf's death and the confusion of her status with both Leo and Etienne suddenly causes Isabella to break.
- 16 March: Meanwhile, where people don't notice, Pierrick is intelligent and e-mails Charlie about his mother's identity now that she's alive once more. Charlie replies. He hasn't heard from Isabella.
- 17 March: Having not heard from his mother in so long, Charlie goes to the estate and discovers she has gone back into an ice coma. Fortunately, removing her from the kitchen area in the lower levels of the house helps her almost instantly. Still, he insists that she come home with him, and eventually she does.
- 19 March: The funeral is held (see above) and Adele asks Etienne to return to London with them.
- 19 March: In equally gloomy news, Kita MacGruder has a miscarriage, with the audience of Lindsey, Mina, Jess, Marisa (who saves the day with food) and Clay.
- 19 March: Before Isabella and Charlie leave for London, Charlie calls his sister and lets slip what happened. Alice loses it and runs off. Charlie loses it and rings Scott. Scott goes north, to Alnwick. He arrives six hours later and two hours after that, there's much to be depressed about. Alice's problems are deeper and more complicated than anyone understood. Including herself. From here on out, she starts falling into a permanent depression.
- 20 March: Etienne leaves with his sister and nephew and nieces for London, planning to spend no more than three weeks with them.
- 20 March: Vincent Remy goes to Miramichi, where he gets to spend the weekend with Evangeline, who may or may not be his Annie at this point (again). There's a storm and a power outage, and they have to spend the night in the basement (where there's a fight).
- 21 March: For Vincent and Evangeline, the next day is a lot sweeter. The day after that, Tanner James shows up and they have a very peaceful weekend.
- 22 March: Isabella runs into Etienne at Holland Park. They have a fight. She refuses to cooperate.
- 23 March: Back on Tory, Cecily has received a hallucination of her daughter's ice coma on the 17th of March. She can't figure out why it would have happened, but is haunted for a week.
- 24 March: So it's no surprise to anyone who's been paying attention that on the morning of Vincent's departure, the three of them fight. It does have a sort of bittersweetly happy kind of ending, though.
- 24 March: This day refuses to end for the Rémi family, though, because while Vincent is busy flying, Joelle is too – until she's busy getting kidnapped instead.
- 24 March: Something else is haunting Isabella. Namely, her memories of sex with Etienne.
- 25 March: Joanne's birthday.
- 25 March: But in the first stroke of good luck in all of March, Elliot runs into Louise again. He gets her to see him again that night, and she does.
- 25 March: Alice begins her therapy journal.
- 25 March: Joelle manages to escape her kidnappers via escaping from a window, which she doesn't remember – and she can't remember anything else, either, when Evrard nearly hits her with his bike and then decides to take care of her instead.
- 26 March: Isabella goes out. Goes to the Eclipse. Runs into a gaggle of cops. One such cop is Vaughn. Iz flirts shamelessly for the duration of the conversation. Scene ends with Vaughn (who will only be Cary to her) and Iz leaving together. To shack up. A lot.
- 26 March: Evrard tries to help Joelle remember things, which starts to work. And they start to become friends. (And are terrifyingly cute, actually, but that's not the point nor the intent.)
- 29 March: Téa's birthday.
