Detailed Information

Physical Description

Domani is 6'1", or about 185 cm. He has dark brown messy hair, brown eyes, and an olive complexion. He has a very lean and toned body, and muscular legs, due to his professional football career.

Personal Information

Domani grew up in a nonreligious, socialist family, the youngest of five children and the only boy. He is a now retired professional footballer, who had been part of AC Milan, and the Italian National team, Azzurri. He has a strong sense of humor and frequently acts very immature for his 38 years (mostly around his sons). He's a very affection and open person, and holds his family very close to his heart. Other than his wife and children, football is his life.

Backstory

In 1985, when Domani was 17, he met Sophie, then Sophie Griffith, while pursuing a degree in literature at the University of Florence. He was immediately taken with the young woman, whom he believed to be about 20 at the time - she didn't tell him any differently. It was only after they had been somewhat together for a few months that she told him not only was she 24, but she was married and had a four year old son.

Shocked at first, that didn't put him completely off. He was head over heels in love with her, though he took an immediate disliking to her husband, John Griffith. They carried on their affair, rarely interupted by the ever absent John, for a little over a year. Early in 1987, Sophie told him she would have to return with John to London, though reassured him it would not be the last time they were together. Unfortunately for them, that turned out to be untrue. They wrote to each frequently, speaking over the phone only a few times, for almost another year - during which time Sophie hid her pregnancy from him. It wasn't long after Jake was born that they lost touch. Sophie once more was traveling with John, and Domani moved to Milan after he was picked up by AC Milan to play football. John may or may not have had a hand in destroying a couple of Domani's letters to Sophie. It's most likely safe to say he did.

Domani was crushed over the silence from Sophie, thinking she must have decided to cut herself off from him completely. The number he called had been disconnected (Sophie and John were not in their house in London), and eventually letters he sent began to be returned. He finally, and regretfully, gave up, and tried to move on.

After that, Domani began to date men, something he had mentioned doing once or twice before to Sophie during their relationship in Italy. His name gained popularity in Italy quickly as part of the AC Milan team, and one of their star midfielders, and just as quickly gained some notoriety as being a bit promiscuous with men. Though he dated a few women just as openly, none of his relationships were serious until he met Liliana Fusco at a party in 1996. They dated on and off (and were followed closely by the paparazzi) for about a year before Domani proposed, and they married not long after. Their son, Alessandro Reali, was born in 1998, and later that same year Domani and Liliana divorced. He never really had gotten over Sophie.

Due to his highly publicized lifestyle, and the age of their son, Liliana was awarded sole custody of Alessandro but she and Domani remained friends and he sees Alessandro often.

In 2005, Domani met Jake Griffith, and learned a few things about Sophie he never knew, including her death. Over Christmas that year, he saw her again, 18 years late. A month after that, he had her back for good.

They were married 27 July, 2006, and their daughter, Ava, was born 1 October, 2006. They live in Milan.
