This stuff is being redone so expect some changes & things, though all information here is probably going to remain accurate.

Named for the Capio family and founded way back in 1816 by Robert Capio and some friends as a single London hospital, Capio Grand grew and grew and grew until it became what it currently is – a group of premiere hospitals, primary care clinics, diagnostic labs, psychiatric care and specialty hubs.

Capio is one of the leading providers of independent hospital services in England, with a network of 21 acute hospitals. These provide a wide and comprehensive range of specialised and efficient clinical specialties from orthopaedics and general surgery, to cardiac surgery and oncology. They are also one of the largest providers of specialised treatments for psychological and emotional problems, eating disorders and addictions.

Recognised by all major medical insurers, Capio offers fast, convenient, effective and high quality treatment for all patients, whether medically insured, self-pay, or from the increasing number referred by the NHS.

Capio provides laboratory medicine, including a recently acquired specialised histopathology and cytology service, together with imaging services, on both a fixed and mobile basis to its patients.

Four mobile imaging units are currently in operation, providing CT and MRI services at Capio's UK hospitals, as well as a number of NHS sites around the country.

Capio Healthcare is a completely privately owned and operated system. They do not work under National Health Services so much as with them, and while they take donations, have not been looking for investors or shareholders on a grand scale since 1900.

Diagnostic Centers

Diagnostic labs are located in London, Reading, New Hall, Clifton Park, Blakelands, Horton, Farnham, and a bunch of other places that have yet to be established.

Affiliated Primary Care

These are pretty much all over the UK. There's at least one in every major city, and there are over two thousand affiliated physicians, so it wouldn't be worth keeping all of them on a list.

Board of Directors

Hospital Chairs

Some of these people are also on the Board. Each hospital has a dean of medicine and many have a non-medical chair who operates alongside or paired with the dean. Fabian is the chair for Nightingale, and Robert is about to reclaim Oaklands.
