Actual information will follow at some point. Like the story about Calescotia.

A lot of Capios – a lot of them – are either involved in some kind of medicine or some kind of public/social affairs. The odds you find one who isn't is low, and when you do, it's most likely they work for their home city somehow. This family lives to serve. It's in the blood.

The Story About Calescotia

In 1720, before the island's isolationist policy started, Reuben and Sarah Capio called for a family reunion and took their three children – Philip and Robert were in their fifties and Valerie was only sixteen – to Calescotia for a vacation. Robert had just begun his medical training, and Philip was visiting back from America.

While they were over in Calescotia, Valerie met a shopkeeper's son, a boy of eighteen named Larus Nyström. The two of them basically fell in love at first sight, and Valerie stayed in Calescotia to marry Larus.

Seven years later, their first son, Jónatan, was born. Shortly after that, the isolationist policy began, and the rest of the Capios never saw Valerie again. They wrote, and got no reply. She never even got their letters. She never found out they were trying to contact her.

Eventually, they had four sons and a daughter.

When their youngest, Sindri, was five, Larus was nearly killed in a carriage accident – this shocked Valerie into finally going over the edge and making him immortal, something she hadn't really wanted to do but felt as if she couldn't. Sindri witnessed the accident and ended up fairly afraid of travel by anything but foot, something that would come back to haunt him later.

In 1901, the children were all for the most part settled, and had their jobs and their happiness, and Valerie and Larus crossed over together.

Everything was fine for eighty-some years, when Sindri, who had worked as a court jester for over a hundred years, finally fell in love. The object of his affection was Eliana Tennfjord, a stablehand. The two of them married in 1982, and had a child, Tjader, in 1985.

Two years later, Eliana was killed – in a carriage accident. Sindri, lost and hopeless more than he ever thought he would be, feeling nothing but guilt, instantly crossed over with her, forgetting about their son. Even in death he hasn't really ever become sane again, and none of the Nyströms are even close to aware of the fact that Sindri's son is still alive and well.

The Dukes of Northumberland

In this universe, the title of Duke of Northumberland was still created in 1551 - but for Reuben Capio, a man whose family had been there for centuries. Reuben's fictional son, Reuben II – who was in fact Reuben himself – was the second Duke. Robert took the titles for the third through fifth, and then upon his sixth incarnation refused it, letting it fall by the wayside until the family agreed to award the title to Roland. He kept it for two turns before passing it on to his actual son, Colin.

Dawn Sullivan was the next to pick up the title, but as no one was about to appoint a Duchess of Northumberland, the title waited until she had a child – the current Duke, Alan Sullivan, does not reside in Alnwick Castle at the moment. He's too busy hiding from all the pop culture it's been through – and besides, wanted to avoid Robert until the family quarrel was over.

Alan is unaware that Heidi insofar has not mentioned her title to her family.

Most of these people are angels. The folks in italics are humans. None of the unmarked spouses are errors, as some angels married angels. Some of the humans are/were immortal, some aren't.
